The Philippine Postal Corporation (PHLPost) has resumed the application process for postal IDs, providing both new and renewal services at several branches nationwide. Interested applicants must personally submit their requirements at designated capturing post offices.
Requirements for New Postal ID Application
Applicants are required to bring the original and a photocopy of the following:

Proof of Identity: This can include a birth certificate from the PSA or Local Civil Registry, GSIS or SSS UMID card, driver’s license, or passport. Married women must also submit their marriage certificate.
Proof of Address: Barangay clearance, Certified True Copy of Lease, Certified True Copy of Titles, Certified True Copy of Real Estate Tax Receipt, bank statement, credit card statement, school billing statement, or utility bills (e.g., cable, electric, internet, landline, telephone, water).
Requirements for Postal ID Renewal
For those renewing their postal ID, the following documents are required:
- Expired Postal ID (PVC type, black/gray)
- Proof of Identity: Same options as for new applicants (birth certificate, GSIS/SSS UMID card, driver’s license, or passport). Married women must also submit a marriage certificate.
- Proof of Address: Same options as for new applicants (barangay clearance, Certified True Copy of Lease, etc.).
