Requirements for Application

Applicants interested in applying for any of the positions must meet the following requirements:

  1. Application Letter: Must state the specific position title with salary grade (SG) level and specific division/province or place of assignment as posted. Applicants can apply for a maximum of two (2) positions regardless of occupational group.

  2. Personal Data Sheet (PDS): Two (2) original copies of the duly accomplished PDS with a recent ID picture taken within three (3) months prior to submission (CSC Form No. 212, Revised 2017) duly subscribed and sworn to by an authorized administering officer. Include the Work Experience Sheet (CSC Form No. 212 - Attachment) if applicable.

  3. Eligibility: Photocopy of authenticated Eligibility (CSC, CESB, RA 1080, PRC, PD 907, etc.).

  4. Transcript of Record: Photocopy of the Transcript of Record.

  5. Training Certificates: Photocopy of certificates of training relevant to the position applied for and participated in within the last five (5) years, if applicable.

  6. Performance Review: Certified copy of the Individual Performance Commitment Review (IPCR) or its equivalent for the last rating period for applicants with work experience.

  7. Affidavit: Affidavit of Informed Consent, Waiver, and Undertaking of Compliance to the Minimum Qualification Standards and Requirements.

  8. Supervisory Certification: For SG 24 applicants, certification from authorized personnel indicating supervisory functions, including the specific period and number of subordinates.

Important Notes

  • Electronic filing of applications will not be accepted.
  • Submit one set of application documents per position applied for.
  • Applications without salary grade and specific place of assignment as posted will be automatically rejected.
  • The PSA respects the Next-in-Rank principle in the Omnibus Rules on Appointments and Other Human Resource Actions (ORAOHRA) subject to qualification standards and requirements of the position. Failure to submit the application and/or PSA Human Resource Merit Promotion and Selection Board (PSA-HRMPSB) Form 2 (Waiver as Next-in-Rank Form) by any PSA employee considered as next in rank is automatically a waiver of his/her privilege.
  • The PSA reserves the right to suspend or terminate the hiring process for any reason or disqualify any and/or all applicants for failure to comply with the requirements and instructions without incurring liabilities.
  • Applicants must present the original copy of the documents/attachments in the application letter to the Secretariat before the interview. Failure to present any document will result in automatic disqualification.
  • Applications and documents submitted after the deadline at 5:00 PM will not be accepted.
  • Applications with incomplete required documents, including required information or data, will not be accepted.
