About Food Wanderer x Lakbay Museo
FOOD WANDERER X LAKBAY MUSEO is a one of its kind millennial interactive Filipino Museum that promotes Philippine heritage, culture, and delicacies.

Wander around the three beautiful islands of the Philippines as students discover educational facts about Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao in just a couple of thousand steps.
Guests will be astonished to explore each section of Food Wanderer as it exhibits a wide collection of Filipino Delicacies from the different regions of the Philippines.
Each installation in Food Wanderer will encourage students to marvel around and participate in a fun learning experience for them as each
activity and installation are connected with the Department of Education’s K-12 curriculum guide.
The students’ journey through the different regional museums is designed around certain important domains of learning within the context of Filipino culture.

My Personal Experience
Last weekend I brought my team to Ayala Malls Manila Bay to get to experience the recently opened museum and attraction at the second level of the mall.

If you are bringing your own vehicle and parked in the basement, you have to go to the ground level to get in to the mall, you can ask any of the guards around to give you directions to Food Wanderer x Lakbay Museo.

Upon entering, you will be welcomed by the huge colorful signage.

I went straight to the admission lobby to book our entrance. We were asked to stay for a bit and wait for our guide before the start of the tour.

From here, there are TWO WAYS to get in to the museum: thru MASSKARA or thru JEEPNEY

Of course, we chose the Masskara which led us to a small slide to enter the museum!
Fun Fact: The MassKara Festival is an annual festival with highlights held every 4th Sunday of October in Bacolod, Philippines.
The tour was free-flow but guided by the paths to different rooms which feature different facts and activities. There are staff inside the museum who will help you along the way.
Upon entrance, we were welcomed by different tourist destinations from the Luzon island.
IFUGAO VILLAGE

First off is the traditional Ifugao House which features food and furniture used by the Igorots until now. Ifugao village are common in the Cordilleras which is a mountainous region in the Philippines.
For this one, there was a guide who taught us about the Ifugao House, its importance and a bit of history. The guide let us also take the stairs and get in to the house for the experience and a selfie (of course!)
MAYON VOLCANO

This is a replica of Mt. Mayon in Bicol region, a rainbow version of the volcano.

Another replica of a Philippine wonder, Chocolate Hills are found in Bohol.
