Welcome to the food haven in Pasig.
Kapitolyo is an area known for houses being turned into some of the best hole-in-the-wall restaurants that eventually winged out in other cities – leading to its popularity.
Since I lived in Pasig for about 3 years, I've already been to Kapitolyo many times. The neighborhood is located near Privato Hotel (Ortigas) where I was offered a free stay and the Capitol Commons, the area where the old Rizal Provincial Capitol was located before it was relocated to Antipolo.
First Pasig food trip experience I had in Kapitolyo was the Gastro Park (one of the famous food parks in Pasig in 2017). I also experienced to had a fine dine at Cafe Juanita when we had a staycation at Ace Hotel & Suites.
Some of my favorite spots in Kapitolyo are Charlie's Grind & Grill, Manila Wings (already closed), Three Sisters and Bull Chef.

The East Drive and West Drive
Locating the best restaurants in Kapitolyo area is not that hard to find. The first trick you should know is that Kapitolyo has two main streets, the East Drive and West Drive.
East Drive caters to a more budget friendly and affordable restaurants while West Drive is more on special occasions and romantic date type of restaurants.
TRIVIA: Remember, Kapitolyo is more than a neighborhood of sumptuous food places, it is one of Pasig City's 30 barangays.

How to get to Kapitolyo Pasig
Here are the transportation options when you go to Kapitolyo, Pasig:
By Public Commuting
- Take any of the PUJs from Pasig (Palengke or Kapasigan), Mandaluyong and Quiapo that pass by Shaw Blvd.
- Drop off "Kapitolyo" or Capitol Commons.
- Take a walk going inside Kapitolyo's gated community.
- Take a tricycle ride and tell the driver to bring you straight to the restaurant or place you are going to.
By Private Vehicle
If you are bringing your own car or motorbike, you can follow Waze or Google Maps for driving directions. Come early at your picked restaurant to park your vehicle.
