DSWD told the parents and students that the application for cash assistance will be done online. Several regions have set up online platforms where applications can be made. Here is a step-by-step process for the online application for DSWD Educational Cash Aid:

• Step 2 – Provide the necessary details and documents. The DSWD will assess the applications of all applicants to determine who are really deserving to receive the cash assistance.
  
  
• Step 3 – The DSWD will be sending the QR code or a text message confirming the grant. He or she can then claim the cash assistance at the payout center. Bring your certificate of enrollment and a valid ID when claiming the money.
