ABOUT AYALA TRIANGLE GARDENS
The Ayala Triangle Gardens is a 2-hectare (4.9-acre) landscaped urban park in Makati, Metro Manila, Philippines. It is a triangular public garden and courtyard in the center of the Makati Central Business District.

From being the site of the country’s first landing strip to being the block that held the nucleus of the Philippine business community now emerges a calming & beautiful haven for Makati’s Central Business District is now a landscaped expanse populated by over a hundred trees with a diverse mix including rain trees, golden palms, fire trees, kamuning and podo cerpus.

All these in an open courtyard tastefully intersected with lush greenery and inspired public art pieces from some of the country’s leading artists.
The park was named after its owner and developer Ayala Land, and opened to the public in November 19, 2009. Inspired by Hyde Park in London, the park, which is dotted with palms, acacia trees, and tropical foliage, is considered one of the few "green" areas in Makati.

The Triangle has become a focal point for social events in the business district, and is popular at Christmastime for its extravagant light-and-sound display. It is also home to the Tower One and Exchange Plaza and Makati Stock Exchange Building, as well as the old Nielson Tower which houses a fine dining restaurant.

Location
The Ayala Triangle Gardens is located south of Salcedo Village, a part of barangay Bel-Air by its border with barangays San Lorenzo and Urdaneta. Buildings on the Triangle include the old Makati Stock Exchange Center and Ayala Tower One (home of the Philippine Stock Exchange) along the Ayala Avenue side, the old Nielson Tower that has since been converted into a restaurant, and Ayala Triangle Tower One and Ayala Triangle Tower Two (home of The Shops at Triangle Gardens, an Ayala Mall) at the intersection of Makati Avenue and Paseo de Roxas.

Events and shows
Festival of Lights
The Ayala Triangle Gardens hosts the annual Festival of Lights, a lights and sound display from November to January of the following year. The show usually runs every 30 minutes from 6:00 p.m. PHT (UTC+8) until 10:00 p.m.
The show is conceptualized by award-winning lighting designers Voltaire de Jesus and Luther Gumia.
The show has flashing LED lights, laser effects and fog effects. A recent addition in the 2019 edition is a projection mapping at the Tower One and Exchange Plaza.
It features Filipino and international Christmas music. Some medleys in the show were inspired by the carnivals in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Music festivals
The park also hosts some music festivals, with some notable being the Pinoy Music Festival on September 5, 2014, and the ASEAN Music Festival on November 14, 2017. The ASEAN Music Festival in 2017 was cancelled during the show due to overcrowding.
The Shops Ayala Triangle Gardens
Through The Shops Ayala Triangle Gardens, Makati’s residents and business professionals can now enjoy the park with its collection of high-end restaurants and supermarket that define modern living in the city. While it opened just June of 2022, The Shops is now comprised of four well-known establishments that you might like to visit!

Park Guidelines
All guests are required to observe the following guidelines as well as other policies and directives of management to ensure a relaxing and enjoyable experience at Ayala Triangle Gardens.
- Guests shall be solely responsible for their actions and belongings. The Owner and management shall not be liable for any loss or damage to guests.
- Security checks on persons and property may be conducted at the discretion of management.
- Management reserves the right to refuse admission or deny the continued stay of any
- person in the premises, including those who fail to comply with Outdoor Space guidelines or who otherwise engage in disruptive or inappropriate behavior.
- Guests should use proper pathways and properly dispose of trash.
- Minors must be accompanied and supervised by responsible adults.
- Guests must observe and preserve pedestrian safety.
- Pets must be properly leashed and secured, and handlers must clean up after them.
- The following acts are PROHIBITED within the premises:
- Selling and / or displaying goods or services
- Leaf letting, distributing or posting of any printed material
- Generating loud noise and music
- Vandalism
- Staging of unauthorized events, public gathering or unauthorized assembly
- Taking photographs, videotaping, recording, broadcasting or transmission of any material for commercial purposes
- Gambling or any other illegal, immoral or improper conduct
- Bringing in of dangerous or hazardous materials, weapons (or similar objects), illegal substances, alcoholic drinks and glass containers
- Use of skateboards or motor vehicles (except motorized wheelchairs and non motorized bicycles)

You can travel to Ayala Triangle Gardens by taking any of the following: train, bus, UVs and jeepneys
By Train
There are TWO (2) railways located near Ayala Triangle Gardens: LRT-1 and MRT-3
- For those who are taking LRT-1, from Roosevelt including all stations in between Gil Puyat and Roosevelt, get off at Gil Puyat Station. Take a bus with "Ayala" sign and get off at right unloading zone. During weekdays, get off at proper unloading area which is right before Paseo de Roxas. Otherwise, you will walk way too far because the next unloading station for north bound lane of Ayala is on Rustan or Glorietta. Once you got off the bus in the unloading area before Paseo de Roxas Street, walk your way to the underpass and head onto the opposite side of Ayala where the Ayala Tower One is erected. During Saturdays and Sundays, you can get off at the opposite side of Ayala Tower One Bldg and cross the road to get to the Ayala Triangle Garden.
- For those who are taking MRT-3, commuters who are riding trains coming from both Taft and North Avenue Stations, get off at Ayala Station and ride a jeepney at the terminal located at the service road of Mc Kinley Street opposite Shell Gasoline Station. Get off after Paseo de Roxas and use the the underpass to get to the Ayala Triangle Garden. No unloading in Ayala Triangle Garden during weekdays, but during Saturdays and Sundays, loading and unloading city ordinance of Makati is not being implemented.
By Bus
Take bus anywhere along EDSA with "Ayala-LRT Leveriza" sign. In Monumento, you can take ride bus at the corner of 5th Avenue also known as C-3. You can also ride a bus bound to Ayala from Fairview and Novaliches. You can get off exactly at Philippine Stock Exchange and walk your way up to the Ayala Triangle Garden.
By UV Express or Jeepney
"Ayala-Washington" is the sign of the jeepney that you must ride from EDSA corner McKinley Road, the wide wide street opposite Ayala Avenue where Shell Gasoline Station is located at right at the corner. The terminal of the "Ayala-Washington" jeepney is located at the back of Shell Station. Ride one of these jeepneys. Get off the jeepney at the unloading zone which is situated past Paseo de Roxas. In Makati, you need to observe loading and unloading ordinance.
By Private Car
For those who are bringing own vehicles, you may follow driving directions from Google Maps or Waze app. Limited parking space is available at the park.

Formerly Nielson Tower
Built in 1937, Nielson Tower served as the control tower and passenger depot of the Philippines’ first commercial airport. In World War II, Nielson Tower was used by Japanese forces as headquarters, and then later was taken over by Americans.
Gabriela Silang Monument
This monument of Gabriela Silang was created by Jose M. Mendoza in 1971. Gabriela Silang was the first Filipina to lead a revolt against Spain. She was born in Ilocos Sur on March 1, 1731. After the murder of her second husband, Diego Silang, she led his troops in a policy of harassment that earned her the title of “Generala”.

Ninoy Aquino Monument
The bronze monument by sculptor Peter de Guzman commemorates slain former senator and Filipino hero Benigno “Ninoy” S. Aquino Jr. As one of the leaders in the opposition against the dictatorship of Ferdinand Marcos, Ninoy protested the social injustices committed during the martial law years and publicly attacked Marcos’ regime.

Sultan Kudarat Monument
This statue of Sultan Kudarat was created by Jose M. Mendoza in 1973. Muhammad Dipatuan Kudarat was the Sultan of Mindanao during the first half of the 17th century. He united the Muslims of Lanao, Cotabato, Davao, Sulu, Zamboanga and North Borneo, and resisted bitterly the Spanish Invasion of his domain.

McMicking Fountain
McMicking Fountain is a memorial in honor of Colonel Joseph McMicking and Mrs. Mercedes Zobel-McMicking who made significant contributions to the development of Ayala Corporation and the Makati business district. The McMickings founded the Filipinas Foundation in 1961, which is now known as the Ayala Foundation, Inc. — the first corporate foundation in the Philippines.
