Perched atop a forest clad cliff on the southernmost tip of Taal Lake, sits Ataalaya, a 5 hectare rural retreat that celebrates the heritage and traditions of Old Batangas, yet offers the comforts of modern living.
Ataalaya's design could best be described as Colonial Melange - blending elements of Cape Dutch and Indian styles with Philippine traditional architecture, creating the ambience of a colonial plantation home.
This Airbnb is famous because of its outdoor jacuzzi and a view of Taal Lake.
This is the side of Taal Lake that most visitors have never seen, with its jungle backdrop, unusual flora and fauna, and the absence of urban sprawl.
