I've been here couple of times. The road is a shortcut from Cavite if you are going to the west coast of Batangas.
ABOUT KAYBIANG TUNNEL
At 300 meters, Kaybiang Tunnel is the longest road tunnel in the Philippines. The tunnel bores through Mt. Palay-Palay, and connects Ternate, Cavite to Nasugbu, Batangas.Kaybiang Tunnel in 2018 |
Right after exiting the tunnel at the Nasugbu side, travelers have a seaside view of islands Limbones, Carabao, and El Fraile.

The tunnel was constructed in 2009 and was officially opened in July 2013 as an alternate route to Tagaytay and Batangas.

It is indeed a favorite stop-over of travelers going to Batangas. We dropped by here during our visit to Pico de Loro.

HOW TO GET TO KAYBIANG TUNNEL
Kaybiang Tunnel is accessible via Nasugbu-Ternate Highway that connects Cavite and Batangas along the ridges near Manila Bay.There are buses en route to Nasugbu that pass by Kaybiang Tunnel from PITX if you are coming Manila. Fare is around P150 per head one-way. You can book a bus ticket online:

If you are bringing your own vehicle you just have to pass thru Tanza and Naic in Cavite to acess Nasugbu-Ternate Highway.
