It is the season to explore Taguig City more!

It's Christmas season now in the Philippines and you will feel it wherever you go, you see Christmas display all over the cities in the metro and even in provinces.

WHAT TO BUY FOR CHRISTMAS

Here's a list of best things to buy for Christmas:

Shopee is my go-to app for things I needed like the ones above. If you'd like discounts and vouchers, you may get the best offers here:

But if you choose to visit Taguig, here are the things you will expect:

1. Giant Christmas Trees in BGC

Bonifacio Global City in Taguig is not a place for office works only. There are plenty of shopping malls and food hubs this business district. This Christmas season, each mall is dressed with bright lights and showcases their giant Christmas tree.

Bonifacio High Street

This year's theme for Bonifacio High Street's Christmas display is "White Christmas". The giant tree looks like a house with windows and a door at its bottom. Everyone can take a selfie here or watch a mini show sponsored by the mall.

SM Aura Premier

The mall's Christmas tree is colored with pink, blue and gold. It features a big bird in the front. You can stop here at the activity area near the mall's entrance and take your best shot for your IG!

For those who are walking through this area in BGC, you can notice this giant Christmas tree covered with decorations in red and gold. Go near the fountain for you to take your best photos of the tree.

Ayala Malls Market! Market!

Of course, Market! Market! won't leave you without having a nice Christmas tree. For this year, they have installed a tree covered with big gifts all over it. You can stop for a selfie before entering the mall at the fountain area.

Installed in November, Venice Grand Canal has been more romantic with the addition of their "floating Christmas tree". It's very picturesque and IG worthy.

3. Carnivals

This Christmas season "perya" or carnivals are rising like mushrooms. Here are some of the fun carnivals you can find in Taguig this time of the year:

Diamond Carnival (C6 near Bay Breeze Area)

Just recently this year, Diamond Carnival has been seen by Taguigenos along C6 Road. We haven't confirmed yet when it's going to be operating. But you can notice their preparations from the road.

Mini Carnaval (along Levi Mariano Ave., Brgy. Tuktukan)

This carnival located along Levi Marian Ave is open every night starting 6PM until 12MN daily. They have a few rides such as Ferris Wheel and a bunch of games you can enjoy for.

4. Mercado del Lago, Lakeshore and TLC Park

One of Taguigenos favorite hang out places in the city is this food hall by the lake - Mercado del Lago is now more brighter and merrier because of Christmas lights and installation added to it.

5. Town Plazas

An old town like Taguig won't be complete without a plaza. Throughout the years these plazas become a part of this city's history. It's a little treat to Taguigenos that the LGU gives time and effort to do a makeover of them from time to time especially this Christmas season.

6. Taguig City Hall

Last but not the least, every year the local government of Taguig takes effort in lighting up the city hall to put a little Christmas vibes for Taguigenos. This year, the facade of the building is lit up with LED lights and decorations.

Employees Park

In addition to common places in Taguig, this one is located inside the city hall complex.

The LGU made sure to not forget to treat their employees, too. This tunnel of lights and umbrellas just gives them a refreshing sight every night until the season ends.

I lived in Taguig City for the longest time and every year gets merrier this season. I am just happy to share with you these attractions and spots you can also enjoy if you visit here.
