Korean grill barbecue AKA samgyupsal or samgyeopsal or simply samgyup in Korean language has become one of the famous past-time food of Filipinos for a few years.

Most of the Korean restaurants offer UNLIMITED SAMGYUPSAL where you can grill your favorite sliced meat savored with kimchi and other side dishes wrapped in lettuce and eat it the Korean-way.

Here's a short list of Korean Barbecue grilling places in Metro Manila you shouldn't miss to try:

1. Romantic Baboy

This Korean restaurant started their venture last year 2018 where they launched their first branch in Tomas Morato, Quezon City. They are the first to offer "cheesy" samgyupsal I know.

Romantic Baboy is a restaurant that is most popular for its samgyupsal (unlimited Korean grill), cheese fondue, side dishes, and more.

2. Fantastic Chef

Fantastic Chef is the most-known Korean grill in Manila today. They currently have branches in Taft and Remedios.

Location: Near Taft and Remedios circle

3. Seoul Garden Philippines

Seoul Garden Philippines - IMFWJ

Known for their Korean hotpot (shabu-shabu), Seoul Garden Philippines is also offers UNLI GRILL and other food in SM North EDSA Annex!

4. Lee Hak Buffet Restaurant

5. Muhan Unlimited Samgyupsal

Muhan Unlimited Samgyupsal - Taft, Manila

Muhan Unlimited Samgyupsal is one of my top Korean BBQ choices in Manila! This restaurant in Taft Avenue also serve unlimited shabu-shabu.

6. 1223 Grill

The cheapest yet reasonable - 1223 Grill is Pasig's hidden Korean haven! Aside from samgyupsal, I personally love their Budae Jjigae.

Location: Kapasigan, Pasig City

7. Oh My Samgyup

This Korean restaurant located across ABSCBN is offering unlimited Korean BBQ and other Korean food at affordable cost. Oh My Samgyup has lots of sides that you can choose from. Dilis is my favorite!

8. Fantastic Baka

Fantastic Baka - Mother Ignacia, Quezon City

This Korean restaurant is known in serving premium cut meat perfectly made for Filipino taste. Fantastic Baka is located along Mother Ignacia near ABS-CBN building.

9. Seoulgyupsal

Seoulgyupsal is one of the Korean restaurants that has scattered over the metro and the malls all over the Philippines. Their grill is mixed of Korean and Japanese meat-cut and sides.

10. SongDoWon Korean Restaurant

SongDoWon Korean Restaurant

Quite expensive yet a very good Korean grill experience - that's what Song Do Won can offer. This restaurant located at HK Sun Plaza along Macapagal Ave. in Pasay City is always full-packed with Koreans (I've seen more than 50% of their customers are real Korean). Oh, and they are open 24/7!
