This cafe offers homemade and most native food, coffee and chocolate in Tagaytay.
Me, my family and friends stayed in Tagaytay for a vacation for few days. We were so lazy after checking to our accommodation. It was already 6pm when we decided to look for a place to eat for dinner. Thank God we found Caffe Nativo which offers all-day breakfast meals and hot drinks to ease the coldness in Tagaytay.


BEHIND CAFE NATIVO

Josef along with his wife Lilian lived in Dubai, UAE for 5 years. They met and worked in a local coffee shop there and shared their love for coffee. They put up a cafe in Tagaytay called “Caffe Nativo.”


Their intent was quite simple and straight forward: to serve good local coffee with impeccable service. Of course every establishment will boast about their “service.”

Sumptuous Food and Native Drinks


This cafe serves local Filipino dishes such as tapsilog and liemposilog, hearty American breakfast like clubhouse sandwiches and Italian delicacies like pastas and French toast. All are available for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

 We tried at least one or two of the meals on the menu. My personal favorite? Tapsilog! The tapa was crunchy and soft. It is partnered with egg and veggies. It's a perfect match with their Nativo Hot Choco.


I also love their carbonara. It was creamy and heavy. If you are a pasta lover then you must try it! It is a perfect match with their Dark Mocha frappe and Nativo Clubhouse!



A meal is not complete without desserts. Good thing that Caffe Nativo also offers cakes and pastries.

Artsy Murals

Caffe Nativo is not your usual coffee shop with plain or rustic ambiance. Their walls were all covered by colorful murals. Most of them are inspired by some of the Philippine wonders such as Taal Lake (Taal Volcano) of Batangas, Calle Crisologo of Vigan and a map of the whole Philippines.

Surely, an insta-worthy (instagrammable) cafe indeed!


Caffeinemories

Don't forget to ask their staff for a sticky and leave your memories on their Caffeinmories wall. The time we visited it was already full and countless!

We went here at night time for dinner. Visiting at day time might give you another atmosphere for your insta-worthy photos. 😊

 Indeed, Caffe Nativo's homey feel and relaxing ambiance permit a stay that lets you get a kick out of its coffee and food. At Caffé Nativo, a cup of coffee shared with a company is happiness tasted and time well spent. It's a complete experience for us!

Via Private Vehicle
Search "Caffe Nativo" on Waze or Google Maps. The cafe is located in front of Cityland Prime Residences.

 Via Public Transportation
  • Option 1: if you are coming from Tagaytay Market (Sta. Rosa-Tagaytay Rd.), take a tricycle en route to Olivares. Drop off at Cityland Prime Residences.
  • Option 2: if you are coming from Olivares, turn left after Tagaytay Rotunda. Cityland Prime Residences is on the left side of the road 5 minutes walk from rotunda.
