Yes, not one but two of the Philippine islands, Boracay and Palawan, have again been ranked among the best islands in Asia by TripAdvisor.
TripAdvisor is the world’s largest travel site where travelers can get the latest information on vacation places around the world. Each year, the site publishes ratings on the world's best destinations, islands, hotels, and beaches. The ratings are based on the reviews of travelers.
Travelers spoke up again for their top choices in islands that included the Philippine islands of Boracay and Palawan. Both islands were among TripAdvisor's “Top 10 Islands in Asia.” Boracay ranked sixth, and Palawan secured a spot as number eight. These two islands are in prestigious company, with Ko Tao in Surat Thani province in Thailand as number one, then Bali (Indonesia), Ko Phangan (Thailand), Ko Lanta (Thailand) and Gili Trawangan (Indonesia).
