Tony Joe's Famous BBQ is a new (opened in 2017) house for best-tasting ribs and steak in Brgy. Maybunga, Pasig City.

The restaurant is located along a prime street in that connects Floodway, Cainta and C5 via Caniogan-Ugong. So once we heard of it, we gave it a try and visit the place.
THE PLACE
The restaurant is just next to the road, open-air but covered by stylish roofs. The tables and chairs are rustic yet colorful.

I asked the owner and it is their idea to have it like modern-vintage style. The whole place can actually accommodate up to 100 people. That's why they also accept advance booking for party and events.

THE FOOD
This restaurant mainly serves grilled pork and beef. The time I heard they have ribs and steak, I didn't think twice! (Yea, I'm into steak and ribs!) Overall, I love their food.

THE SERVICE
I only got one thing I can say about their service - very good! I even had a chance to talk to the owner who's the main chef of the restaurant and to some of their staff. *two thumbs up*

HOW TO GET TO TONY JOE'S FAMOUS BBQ
As mentioned above, it is really easy to find this restaurant in Pasig. Actually, its name is both on Google Maps and Waze app. So if you are going here via private car, you can just pin or search their name on the app and it will direct you straight to the restaurant.Pasig is accessible via Shaw Blvd (EDSA Crossing), SM Megamall and Robinsons Galleria in Ortigas. Take a UV Express ride routing to Cainta or Binangongan. It will pass the F. Legaspi St. Just drop off exactly in front of the restaurant. Fare is about P40.
From Quiapo (Manila)
1. Take a jeepney ride routing to Pasig Palengke. Drop off Rotonda, Pasig. Take another jeepney routing to Marikina that will pass Dr. Sixto Antonio Ave. Drop off Estella Maris (in front of Maybunga Brgy. Hall). Fare is P8.00. Lastly, look for a white tricycle terminal nearby and take a ride going to Pasig RAVE Rainforest Adventure. It will pass by the F. Legaspi St. where the restaurant is located at. Fare is P8.00.
2. Take a bus going to Taytay (the green one). Drop off Tramo or Jenny's along Ortigas Avenue Extension in Rosario, Pasig. Look or ask for a tricycle ride straight to the restaurant. Tricycle fare is about P50.
