- Travel Time by Air: There are flights from Manila to Masbate. The flight duration is approximately 1 to 2 hours, depending on the airline and the specific flight route.

Via Legazpi City, Albay/Pilar, Sorsogon
- Board a bus from Cubao Araneta Bus Terminal bound for Legazpi City or Pilar, Sorsogon.
- If you opt to disembark in Legazpi City, take a van heading to Pilar, Sorsogon at the Legazpi Terminal near Pacific Mall.
- Disembark at Pilar, Sorsogon Port.
- For assistance with your luggage, porters are readily available in the area; consider offering them 20 to 30 pesos.
- Pay a P15 port fee at the entrance.
- Proceed directly to the Montenegro Ticketing Office to purchase your RORO or Montenegro Fastcraft ticket. Inquire about the estimated departure time.
- Patiently wait in the port's waiting area or explore nearby eateries while awaiting your departure.

Cebu to Masbate
- Distance: Approximately 180 kilometers (112 miles) in a straight line.
- Travel Time by Sea: Ferry services operate between Cebu and Masbate, and the travel time can vary from around 10 to 12 hours, depending on the ferry route and sea conditions.
- Travel Time by Air: While there are no direct flights from Cebu to Masbate, travelers can take connecting flights via Manila or other airports. The total travel time, including layovers, can range from 3 to 6 hours or more, depending on the chosen flight path.
Note: There are also buses in Cubao terminal which rates already include the fare of RORO to Masbate City. However, if you chose not to take the RORO, there are several scheduled Montenegro Fastcraft going to the city as well.

If avoiding a bus journey while also steering clear of a P7000 one-way ticket, consider booking a more budget-friendly flight to Legazpi City with options like Cebu Pacific, PAL Express, and other airlines. The airfare to Legazpi City is notably more economical compared to a direct PAL Express flight to Masbate City.
Subsequently, catch a van heading to Pilar, Sorsogon from either the Legazpi or Daraga Terminal.
For assistance with your luggage, local porters are readily available; a modest tip of 20 to 30 pesos is often appreciated.
