Malacanang Palace just released the list of National Regular and Special (non-working) Holidays for 2018 through Proclamation 269 s. 2017, which was signed by President Rodrigo Duterte on July 17, 2017.

The proclamation lists 10 regular holidays and eight special non-working holiday for 2018, most of it gave a chance for several long weekends the Philippines in 2018. This is indeed good news for Filipino Travelers as it gives more time to enjoy the holidays with the long weekends that can be spent on a vacation.

March 29, 2018 – Maundy Thursday
March 30, 2018 – Good Friday
April 9, 2018, Monday – Araw ng Kagitingan
May 1, 2018, Tuesday – Labor Day
June 12, 2018, Tuesday – Independence Day
August 27, 2018, last Monday of August – National Heroes' Day
November 30, 2018, Friday – Bonifacio Day
December 25, 2018, Tuesday – Christmas Day
December 30, 2018, Sunday – Rizal Day

Additional Holidays in the Philippines

The proclamations declaring national holidays for Eid’l Fitr and Eid’l Adha will be issued soon after the dates of the Islamic holidays have been determined. The National Commission on Muslim Filipinos has been designated to inform the Office of the President of the actual dates when the holidays will fall.
